Lisnaskea Emmetts host the Dundas Shield Tournament

Saturday 6th December, 2:00 PM, Emmett Park

..Lisnaskea Emmetts will host the very first Dundas Shield Tournament on Saturday 6th December with teams travelling from Newtownbutler, Teemore, Tempo and Lisnaskea's own U12 players.

The Dundas Shield was donated by Mr. James Dundas (now 90, residing in Belfast), who spent his youth playing for Lisnaskea Emmetts.

Mr. Dundas was part of the Championship Winning sides of the 1940's and early 1950's.  As with many an Irish family, there was a proud tradition in his household with brothers Frank, Artie and Tony also playing for the club.
Mr. Dundas will present the shield to the winners, with a special award being presented to the Player of the Tournament.

Newtownbutler, Teemore, Tempo and Lisnaskea U12's will be battling it out to succeed in being the first team put their name on the shield.  It is hoped that the shield will encourage sportsmanship and healthy rivalry between the clubs, creating an air of anticipation for what will follow in the coming years.

The blitz will take place at 2.00 p.m. on Saturday and all are welcome.

Congratulations to our Ladies Team who won the 2014 SFL Division1 Final on defeating local rivals Newtownbutler.

Congratulations to our Senior Team and Management who are the SFL 2A winners defeating Maguiresbridge on a score line of 1-13 to 2-07

Under 12 League Champions

Congratulations to the U12 team and management in winning the league title in a thrilling final against Brookboro with a scoreline of 5-10 to 5-8.

The club and supporters would like to thank the management of Colum McCreesh, Johnny McBrien and Brian McCabe for the dedication and time spent coaching these fine young footballers.
